The celestial wedding of Goddess Meenakshi with Lord Sundareswar at the world famous Madurai Meenakshi Temple will be telecast live online. Celestal Wedding (Thirukkalyanam ) of Lord Sundareswarar (Shiva) with Goddess Meenakshi, which is the most important ceremony during the annual Chithirai Festival, will take place on April 18, 2008.

The 12-day Chithirai Festival began on April 9 and Pattabhishegam for Goddess Meenakshi is on April 16, Car festival is on April 19 and Devendra Pooja on April 20

Online Live streaming is only of the Thirukkalyanam, the celestial wedding of Lord Sundareswarar (Shiva) with Goddess Meenakshi Amman.
